LITTLE LUCY LEARNS TO
PRAY LIKE JESUS
Little Lucy loved talking to God.
She talked to Him when she woke up…
when she played outside…
and even when she brushed her teeth.
One day, Lucy asked her mommy,
“Mommy, how do I pray the way Jesus prayed?”
Mommy smiled and said,
“Let me tell you a story Jesus told His friends.”
“JESUS TOLD HIS FRIENDS
ABOUT OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN"
Mommy said,
“Jesus told us that God is our Father.
A good Father.
A loving Father.
A Father who listens.”
Lucy’s eyes got big.
“God is MY Father too?”
“Yes,” Mommy said.
“He loves you more than you can imagine.”
Mommy whispered,
“Jesus said God’s name is special.
We treat His name with love and respect.”
Lucy nodded.
“Like when I say ‘Thank You, God!’?”
“Yes,” Mommy said.
“That makes God smile.”
Mommy said,
“Jesus wants God’s love, kindness, and goodness to fill the whole world.”
Lucy twirled around.
“Like bringing heaven down here?”
“Exactly,” Mommy said.
Mommy said;
Lucy remember Jesus LOVES You and He wants you to talk to Him everyday and tell all your friends about how much He loves them too.
